Prevention - universal

Universal prevention measures address an entire population (local, community, school, or neighborhood) with messages and programs aimed at preventing or delaying negative behaviors leading to the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. The mission of universal prevention is to deter the onset of negative actions and behaviors for the physical, intellectual, social and emotional areas, including onset of substance abuse by providing all individuals with the information and skills necessary to prevent the problem. The entire population is considered at risk and able to benefit from prevention programs.

Familias Fuertes

Familias Fuertes is the Spanish adaptation of the Strengthening Families Program For Parents and Youth 10-14 (SFP 10-14). It is intended for delivery to Hispanic/Latino families with youth ages 10-14.
