As the Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) Project Manager, Roger is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Evidence-Based Practices side of EPIS project, including oversight, staffing, budget, and related matters. Collaborating with the project Principal Investigator and key Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency (PCCD) stakeholders on strategic planning for supporting statewide prevention programming. He oversees all activities funded by PCCD to provide statewide support, primarily through technical assistance, of evidence-based prevention programming throughout the state of Pennsylvania. He supervises a team of Implementation Specialists, Systems Change Specialists, and the PA Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs systems coordinator, as well as administrative support staff.

Roger graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Arts. He has worked in the human services field for over 30 years. His early work experience included counseling adolescents and adults in MH/MR residential facilities and as a county mobile crisis worker. He has worked for non-profit organizations serving youth and families, both as a program director for a Street Outreach and ATOD Prevention program, and as an Outcomes and Information Technology Specialist. He served as a key leader on two Communities That Care prevention boards and as board chairman on one. Roger's skills include program administration, program management, training, community outreach, data collection, computer software/hardware support, network administration, and web-design.
