Geneen is an Implementation Specialist for EPIS.  Her main role includes providing technical assistance to providers who are implementing evidence-based programming, including the Strengthening Families Program: For Parents & Youth 10-14 (SFP 10-14)/Familias Fuertes and LifeSkills Training (LST). Geneen also supports outcomes data collection and state-wide training/networking coordination, as well as guiding high-quality implementation and sustainability of evidence-based programs.  Geneen is currently the Project Coordinator for the Opioid Misuse Prevention Project (OMPP), a comprehensive pilot project between the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD), and the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), using evidence-based approaches and programs to address youth substance misuse and other problem behaviors.


Geneen graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Rehabilitation Services Education.  She also earned her M.S. in Law and Public Policy from California University of Pennsylvania.  She was employed for 18 years as a Juvenile Probation Officer, spending the majority of that time working closely with local school districts, administrators, resource officers and staff, as well as engaging local community collaborators and service providers to address the comprehensive needs of court-involved youth. Geneen is a certified facilitator for SFP 10-14, LST, and Strong African American Families (SAAF), and is trained in Communities That Care (CTC) Plus as well as the Social Development Strategy (SDS).
