Nataly is a project assistant at EPIS. She assists the data and evaluation team with data entry, collection, and analysis and evaluation related to the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based programs, trainings and technical assistance. She is also the project assistant for the Cross-Systems Prevention Workgroup (CSPW), assisting in the development of a statewide needs assessment tool to inform cross system prevention efforts in Pennsylvania.
Nataly is a passionate about the intersections of prevention science, social justice advocacy, and health equity. She earned her B.A. in Chicana/Chicano Studies, with a concentration in Labor, Law and Policy Studies, from UCLA. She previously worked as a research assistant for the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, supporting research examining the effects of clinical interventions for risky drug use in vulnerable racial/ethnic populations. She later worked in the non-profit sector as a Health & Wellness Coordinator, facilitating evidence-based/evidence-informed health education programs for communities of color in Los Angeles.
