Notes
At a minimum, Key Leaders should represent members of the following community sectors:
- Civic Organizations
- Education
- Faith
- Fraternal
- Government
- Healthcare
- Law Enforcement
- Media
- Racially/Culturally/Ethnically Diverse Neighborhoods, Families, & Youth
- Youth/Family serving organizations/social services
If the Key Leadership for the coalition will also actively serve on the Community Board, this training can be combined with the Community Board Orientation (CBO). However, it is recommended if the trainings are combined that a 45 min-1 hour follow-up discussion is held with those who are in key leadership roles to discuss how the process will integrate into their initiative and work plans.
