- Lunch needs to be provided on-site
- Don't typically break for lunch
- Either have site provide lunch at no cost to participants with funding from another source or arrange lunch to be brought in with participants paying for their own.

At a minimum, participants should represent the following community sectors:

- Racially/culturally/ethnically diverse neighborhoods, families, & youth
- Youth/family/serving organizations/social services
If the Key Leadership for the coalition will also actively serve on the Community Board, this training can be combined with the Key Leader Orientation (KLO). However, it is recommended if the trainings are combined that a 45 min-1 hour follow-up discussion is held with those who are in key leadership roles to discuss how the process will integrate into their initiatives and work plans.
Between the Community Board Orientation (CBO) and the Community Assessment Training (CAT)/Community Resource Assessment Training (CRAT) there will be Technical Assistance (TA) opportunities provided by EPISCenter for the Risk/Protective Factor Workgroup and the Resource Assessment Workgroup (no related cost for sites).
